Tidis Ventures LLC ("us", "we", or "our") operates the Image Scribe Google Docs Add-on (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of the App. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
The App is an add-on that works with Google Workspace that:
When installing the add-on from the Google Marketplace, you will be prompted to authorize different permissions to your Google account. Those authorizations will only be used to perform the service you are requesting from the add-on you have installed.
To revoke those permissions that you've granted to the App, you must uninstall the add-on.
Information gathered by the App will never be sold to external third parties. We only store in our remote database data that is absolutely needed to provide our users the service offered by this add-on.
Upon installing and purchasing the add-on, we store the following data:
Tidis Ventures LLC and Image Scribe may send you marketing and advertising communications to update and relay information about our latest products.
In order to perform the processing tasks on the text extracted from the your images, the App sends the extracted text to OpenAI via its API. OpenAI is the company that operates ChatGPT, a large language model (LLM) that can do many text processing tasks like translation, generate text, etc.
If you do not wish to share your extracted text and any textual information in your images to OpenAI, you must deselect this setting in the App.

The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 18 years of age. Our Website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 18 years old or older.
Our Services are not permitted to children under 18 years of age. No one under age 18 should provide any personal information to us through any of our Services. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 18. Parents and guardians should supervise their children's activities at all times.
